Lightning Protection

Lightning protection systems are used to lessen damage to structures by lightning strikes. Lightning protection also reduces the fire risk and equipment damage which may be experienced in the event of a strike. To ensure compliance with European Standard BSEN 623051 lightning protection system should be inspected and tested on an annual basis.

Eclipse can provide the service giving the responsible person comfort in the knowledge that their building is protected as far as practicably possible against lightning strikes. A yearly visit is required and a certificate is proved to ascertain the system is working as it should. This is needed for Insurance purposes.
